Brian is a sports broadcaster and feels blessed to be living his dream back home in Kansas. This summer he returned to Lawrence after a four year stint in Texas as the “Voice of the Red Raiders”, taking on his dream job of “Voice of the Jayhawks.” As you can imagine, he’s very sports-minded, but also loves travel, concerts, movies and has a huge heart for animals. When he’s not calling Jayhawk games or hanging with his four-legged best bud, Griffey, he’s likely lending a voice or some elbow grease to a local cause. His biggest passion is working on “Rock Chalk Roundball Classic” an annual, KU alumni hoops game to benefit pediatric cancer patients. A compassionate heart in a passionate person will win him over every time.
Get ready for a two-night adventure filled with KU basketball and great conversation. It all starts with Big Monday tickets to see KU and Oklahoma on February 19th. You and a girlfriend will sit in my personal seats for this prime-time ’bout with the Sooners. After the game, I’ll take you both on a tour of the Fieldhouse. Then on Tuesday, be my personal guest at Hawk Talk and meet Coach Bill Self. After the show, you and I will head out for dinner and drinks in downtown Lawrence. Two nights, multiple activities and countless memories in this date package for a diehard Jayhawk fan!
